The Service (Svc) Job Profitability Report is used to provide profitability information for service jobs. This report reflects actual costs for labor, material and other costs compared to price. It provides key metrics to determine overall profitability for service jobs.

Sort By Use the Sort By drop-list to set which field determines the report’s sort order. For example,if Svc Job is chosen, the report will present the specified information in numerical order according to the Service Job Number. Similarly, if Date is chosen, the system would present the data in Completed Date Order.

Selection Criteria In the Selection Criteria area of the screen, change the Start and End value for any values of the available filter options. Users can select multiple selection criteria for the report. Available selection criteria:

  • Job: Input a specific job number or a portion of a job number. Click Find to bring up a list of jobs that meet that criteria. Select one, a few, or all of the jobs by clicking the check boxes next to the desired job numbers.
  • Transaction Dates: Select a From Date and To Date to include jobs between that range in the report.
  • Transactions: Determines what billed status and transaction type to include in the report. Only one option can be selected for each filter.
  • Sites: Input a site name or a portion of a site name. Click Find' to bring up a list of sites that meet that criteria. Select one, a few, or all of the sites by clicking the check boxes next to the desired site names.
  • Job Types: Click Find' to bring up a list of job types or type in a portion of a job type to bring up a specific job type. Select one, a few, or all of the job types by clicking the check boxes next to the desired job types.
  • Servicers: Click Find' to bring up a list of servicers or type in a portion of a servicer's name to bring up a specific servicer. Select one, a few, or all of the servicers by clicking the check boxes next to the desired servicer names.
  • Status: Click Find' to bring up a list of job statuses or type in a portion of a status to bring up a specific status. Select one, a few, or all of the statuses by clicking the check boxes next to the desired statuses.
  • Customer: Input a specific customer name or a portion of a customer name. Click Find to bring up a list of customers that meet that criteria. Select one, a few, or all of the customers by clicking the check boxes next to the customer names.
  • Chain: Click Find' to bring up a list of chains or type in a portion of a chain's name to bring up a specific chain. Select one, a few, or all of the chains by clicking the check boxes next to the desired chain names.
  • Cost Type: Select Labor, Material, or Other from the Cost Type filter. Click Find' to bring up a list of cost types associated with the selected filter or type in a portion of a cost type to bring up a specific cost type. Select one, a few, or all of the cost types by clicking the check boxes next to the desired cost types.

Once all of the selection criteria has been input, the user will click the Print button to run the report. The report will show a breakdown of the profitability of each job that fits the selection criteria. Once in the report, the user can click on a job number to go directly to the complete job details for the selected job.
